My Story

My journey into UX started with designing logos and websites for family and friends. At the time, I didn't realize it was a career path. I just loved creating, which led me to pursue a Master's in Human-Centered Design.

With a background in healthcare, I began to see how design directly impacts workflows and people's lives. Reading Tragic Design was a turning point. It made me realize just how critical UX is in healthcare and how poor design can have real consequences.

Accessibility became personal after my own ordeals as well as watching a TED Talk by Jeff Paradee. It made me take a step back and really think about how many products and services exclude people without even realizing it. That realization pushed me to want to learn more. I completed a Digital Accessibility Analyst program, which prepared me to sit for and pass the Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) exam.

Now, I'm focused on designing experiences that are not only intuitive but also inclusive. My journey of learning is always ongoing especially in accessibility, and I'm increasingly integrating AI into my design process to create smarter, more efficient solutions.

My Other Creative Sides

When I'm not designing digital experiences, I love to express myself through various art forms. These creative outlets help me think differently and bring fresh perspectives to my UX work.
